Greetings Friends of Mom's Notes!
 
People ask us (Joey & Carla Link) all the time if there was a way we could let them know when we add new books.  We don't want to be one more company that overwhelms you with promotional emails.  We are going to try to let you know what's new every few months. 
 
We have two new parenting books that are both outstanding.  We can't say enough about them, other than every parent should try to read them.  I especially like the new books mentioned for children in Kgn - 2nd Grade. Fiction books that are a good way to spend a hot summer day are highlighted for kids in 3rd grade -High School.
 
We carry children's books because all too often the children's books you pick up in a Christian bookstore show no respect for parents or siblings. We look for books that embrace the character God wants in all of us.
 
Many of you have been praying for me since the car accident we were in over 3 years ago. I can't thank you enough for your continured support through prayer. I have progressed to the level of mobility I have today because of your faithfulnness.

Welcome to Growing Kids Detroit  

Our goals are to:

 

1.  Connect Michigan families interested in taking Growing Kids classes within southeastern Michigan.

 

2.  Provide event (local and national) information.  List class information

3.  Offer resources for class leaders.  It is our desire to help Detroit area churches work together to meet the needs of families.

 

4.  It is our prayer that the ministry of Growing Kids would be made available to more and more families, and to change one family at a time so they would make God bigger to the world in how they are parenting.  

 

5.  Establish a community of parents pursuing like-minded values.

If you have been teaching any of the Growing Kids classes in Southeastern Michigan, then please contact us at  fivekeatings@hotmail.com We would like to know how God is working in the ministry in your church and in your life.  Moreover, it helps us update our database of who is leading classes and who has taken classes. That would also enable us to send you alumni information on upcoming events.  If you are interested in getting the ministry started in your church please send us an email.
